THE FRIENDLIEST EVENT OF THE YEAR
After the success of the last one, we are bringing our Big Nature Camp Out back for 2025 kn the 2nd to the 5th of May (Bank holiday weekend). A fun packed weekend dedicated to all creatures great and small. A traditional wild camping escape in the heart of nature awaits. Campers of all ages can enjoy an unforgettable fun weekend under the stars.
Experience the thrill of a wild sleepover and a chance to switch off those phones and get back to nature.
Please note: This weekend will be run as a not-for-profit event with all money going into running the event, venue hire and the remaining to help with our chosen animal charities.
What does booking the event include?
Arrival time to your pitch from 1pm 14th June
Leave by 11am 17th June
Pitch Size 10m x 10m
Suitable for:
· One Large Tent (Max of 6 people per pitch and one vehicle)
· Two Small Tents (Max of 6 people per pitch and one vehicle)
· One Motorhome, Campervan or Caravan (Max of 6 people per pitch and one vehicle)
Please note we do not have hard-standing pitches or electric hook-up.
· Open Fires or wood burning is not permitted. However, BBQ’s are allowed if raised off the ground.
· Exclusive evening use of Masai Pizza house if you didn’t want to cook your own.
· Exclusive evening use of the Oasis play area.
· Dedicated on-site washroom and shower facilities.
· Onsite breakfast den if you didn’t want to cook your own.
· Access to our onsite Crikey kitchen with all equipment available.
· Pot washing facilities.
· No pets allowed.
We do have a kitchen area that you can use to cook to save you needing to get your own.
Entertainment
The weekend will feature live entertainment (in the Outback Arena), talks, walks and demonstrations for all ages to enjoy.
The full line up of live talks and performers will be released closer to the time. However, please see below a list of the last camp out to show you what to expect.
TV stars Nik and Eva Speakman who you may recognise from ITVs This Morning. They will be talking animal phobias and their love for animals.
Naomi Wilkinson who has presented on programmes such as Live “N” Deadly, WILD, Milkshake and Naomi’s nightmares of nature to name a few.

TICKETS AND RESERVATIONS (Limited pitches available)
CAMPING - Friday, Saturday and Sunday for all camping and all activities £295 (per pitch for up to 6 persons)
Additional persons £40 (Maximum 10 persons per pitch)
PLEASE NOTE: We will be making Friday activities curriculum based for the children and as a result we can provide you with a letter that may help your Childs school mark down as an educational absence if you was looking to travel to the site early on Friday.
Extra: Yorkshire wildlife park have offered a reduced rate on zoo tickets if you wanted to visit during your stay.
Weekend pass
£17.50 per adult/£15.50 per child (ages 3-15) under 3’s are free
which would give unlimited entry over the 3 days.
